1.科目のねらい・目標

This is a language course which aims to build upon the skills and fluency acquired during the first two semesters. There will be an emphasis on English for health and welfare studies to help students develop the skills and confidence needed to use English in a health and welfare setting.

2.授業計画・内容・方法・準備学習等

This course will be taught entirely in English, and the use of Japanese will be strongly discouraged.

Students will spend most of their time communicating in spoken English, often in pairs or in small groups. Pronunciation, fluency and clarity will be monitored and appropriate help will be given to individuals.

As well as speaking, there will be practice in listening, reading and writing.

Most lessons will take place in the classroom, but some time will be spent in the LT computer room.
