　My teaching approach to Japanese university students centers on student-centered, communicative methods aimed at fostering increased confidence in English as a skill, not just a subject. By prioritizing interactive learning activities and real-life language use, students actively engage in meaningful communication, leading to enhanced proficiency and practical language application.
　

    My current research explores leveraging students' passive vocabulary to enhance fluency. By tapping into existing vocabulary knowledge, learners can improve fluency, as passive vocabulary often exceeds active usage, facilitating smoother language production and communication.
